We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager to build a commercial base from the ground up and then run it. Location: Nairobi-based, with regular travel to the property in (Mombasa North Coast) Reports to: General Manager Contract: Permanent Start date: 01st October 2026 — ahead of the property’s December 2026 opening Remuneration: 250,000 Gross plus performance incentives on Target Eligibility: Applicants must hold the right to work in Kenya We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager to build a commercial base from the ground up and then run it. This is a pre-opening appointment: the first months are about building a pipeline, distribution and reputation for a property that does not yet trade, and there will be no inherited account base, no historic data, and no established brand recognition to sell against. The role suits someone who has genuinely opened or repositioned a property before, who is comfortable working without the scaffolding of a large corporate sales structure, and whose contact book is real rather than aspirational. Scope and support — please read This is a hands-on, single-holder role. There is no sales team beneath it. You will personally make the calls, write the emails, build the rate sheets, host the site inspections and run the accounts. Budget is available for specialist support — photography and film, media buying, PR and design — which you will brief and manage.
