We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Video Editor Location: Remote Employment Type: Volunteer Job Summary We're looking for a Video Editor who can take raw footage and turn it into stories worth watching — the kind that make people stop scrolling, feel something, and want to share it. From a quick reel to a full event recap, your edits shape how Ruebits' moments reach the world. You'll contribute to Short-form content — Editing reels, social clips, and campaign videos for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Series editing — Cutting content for ongoing series (e.g. Raise Them Right, Parenting Unfiltered) with a consistent, recognisable style Event & programme highlights — Turning raw footage from camps, outreaches, and events into highlight reels and recap videos Storytelling edits — Shaping interviews, testimonies, and participant stories into compelling, well-paced pieces Sound & motion — Adding music, captions, sound design, and simple motion graphics to elevate each edit Footage management — Organising, labelling, and archiving raw footage so it's easy to find and reuse Creative collaboration — Working with writers, designers, and content leads to bring video concepts to life from script to final cut Qualifications Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar) A strong sense of pacing, timing, and story — able to turn raw, unstructured footage into something coherent and engaging Comfortable working with sound, captions, and basic motion graphics A portfolio or past work samples showing your editing style (required) Bonus: experience editing for children's content, faith-based content, or social-impact organisations A genuine heart for children and alignment with Ruebits' Christian values and mission Reliable, deadline-conscious, and comfortable receiving and applying creative feedback.
