Detailed Key Responsibilities β Oversee daily warehouse operations, including timely and accurate receiving, order processing, dispatch, proof of delivery returns, and overall inventory management. β Ensure the team adheres to the set-out warehouse standard operating procedures. β Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture. β Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. β Identify potential risks within the warehouse and last-mile delivery operations, develop mitigation strategies, and improve processes. β Ensure warehouse compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards. β Implement process improvements to enhance output and operational efficiency. β Ensure optimal use of technology and data analytics to streamline operations. β Monitor warehouse expenditures and implement cost-saving measures. β Monitor and evaluate customer deliveries, develop strategies to reduce expenses, optimize truck utilization, and improve maintenance. β Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner. β Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and productivity. β Ensure daily cycle counts and monthly reports are shared on time and resolve arising variances. β Be fully responsible for safety at the various workstations with zero Lost Time Accidents (LTA). β Maintain an up-to-date POD report and ensure proof of deliveries are returned within the provided TAT. β Plan and assign tasks to warehouse staff, keeping track of their performance and efficiency. β Liaise with clients to set up monthly and quarterly stock takes. β Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports as required by management and customers. β Engage actively in sustainability programs while leading the warehouse department in achieving Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals. β Listen to colleagues' ideas, recognize and motivate them when they fulfil their work, provide feedback on staff performance, and offer support when required by the team. β Participate actively in the induction process to ensure new employees feel welcome and valued, setting the foundation for them to become productive and positive contributors. β Develop innovative ideas to enhance the organization's image and improve the overall working environment. β Foster a commercial culture by identifying and actively developing new and existing revenue streams while implementing cost-cutting measures. β Perform other duties as required or directed. Requirements β Bachelorβs Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management, or a related field. β Minimum of 3 years & progressive experience in warehouse and logistics management. β Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and transportation planning. β Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). β Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills. β Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
