• Ensure that key HR-related aspects such as health insurance, leave policies, conflict of interest, risk and compliance training and adherence to the code of conduct are of high quality and fully compliant with the laws of the countries where One Acre Fund operates. • Ensure that all HR activities are compliant with the respective laws of countries where One Acre Fund operates. This includes staying updated on legal changes and advising on their implications. • Lead the creation and periodic review of HR policies, ensuring they are not only legally compliant but also reflect the best practices and ethos of One Acre Fund. This will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to develop policies that support the organization’s mission while safeguarding against legal risks. • An HR professional certification – CHRP, SPHRi, SHRM. • At least 5 years of experience in HR compliance, in a multi-country context. • Familiarity with Sub-Saharan Africa’s employment laws and international HR practices. • Excellent proficiency in English.
