• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years’ practical experience in stores management, warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain management, preferably within agriculture, manufacturing, sugar, irrigation, construction, or agro-processing industries. Experience managing agricultural inputs and engineering works & stores will be highly desirable. • Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse operations, stock control procedures, stores documentation, procurement processes, inventory reconciliation, ERP or computerized inventory systems, Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel), stock forecasting, warehouse safety practices, and handling of agricultural chemicals and hazardous materials. • Behavioural Competencies: High integrity and accountability, strong organizational and planning skills, excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving ability, effective communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork, customer service orientation, time management, adaptability, ability to work under pressure, and commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence. • Additional Requirements: Willingness to reside and work at TRSC Farm in Bura, Tana River County; flexibility to work extended hours during peak farming and harvesting seasons; physical ability to work within warehouse and outdoor farm environments; commitment to maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy, safety, accountability, and environmental compliance. • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years’ hands-on experience in quality assurance, quality control, laboratory operations, or food safety management within the food processing, sugar, beverage, or agro-processing industry. Experience in jaggery (non-centrifugal sugar) processing or sugar manufacturing is highly desirable. • Additional Requirements: Willingness to reside and work at TRSC Farm in Bura, Tana River County; flexibility to work extended hours during peak production periods; commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Membership or eligibility for membership in a relevant professional body will be an added advantage. • Education: Diploma, Higher Diploma, or Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Geospatial Engineering, Surveying and Mapping, Civil Engineering Surveying, or a closely related discipline. Professional body membership or license is an asset. • Experience: Minimum 5 years of practical surveying experience in civil works, roads, irrigation, agriculture, industrial construction, water infrastructure, or large land-development projects. At least 3 years must be hands-on site setting out, level tracking, and quantity measurements. • Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency with Total Station, RTK/GNSS GPS, digital levels, handheld GPS, and field data collectors; professional competence in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, QGIS/ArcGIS, and survey processing software. • Operations & Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage field data, guide engineering teams and contractors, and supervise survey assistants or field crews in remote, high-temperature construction settings. • Project Controls: Strong capability in reading drawings, profiles, specifications, BOQs, interpreting construction tolerances, and maintaining strict measurement logs. • License & Certifications: Valid driver’s license with readiness to operate in remote farm terrain. Training in Project Management, Contract Administration, HSE, or construction supervision is an asset. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or Biosystems Engineering. Registration with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) is strongly preferred. • Experience: 5–8 years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 3 years in water infrastructure/major civil works and 3 years of hands-on experience with center pivot systems. • Technical Expertise: Practical experience with various pipeline materials (HDPE, steel, uPVC); competence in hydraulic calculations, pump curves, and filtration systems.
