OTDR / Test Engineers: Perform comprehensive fiber optic testing utilizing Optical Time-Domain Reflectometers (OTDR), insertion loss testing (LSPM), chromatic dispersion analysis, fault localization, and final link budget verification. QA / QC Inspectors: Audit fiber splicing quality, inspect joint closures, ensure compliance with civil telecom standards, conduct enclosure air-tightness tests, and review final field test documentation. Junior Splicing Assistants: Assist senior technical leads in cable preparation, fiber stripping, cleaving, tray management, tool maintenance, and site safety setup. General Qualifications & Experience Requirements Senior / Master Splicers & Engineers: Relevant diploma or degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, ICT, or related technical field with demonstrated experience in high-core fiber splicing (up to 216C) and OTDR analysis. Fiber Splicers & Assistants: Vocational training (VETA), certificate, or practical field experience in fiber optics, network cablings, or electrical installation.
