• Co-ordinate and maintain expeditious and efficient processing of claims. • Ensuring that all claims fall within the scope of the respective insurance policy. • Set standards or service level benchmarks (and regularly review) in line with the industry practices. • Ensure that the company maintains adequate reserves for all the claims and monitor the utilization of the same with a view to initiating remedial actions. • Ensure that the identification, appointment and management of service providers is efficient and all the service level agreements are adhered to. • Notify any adverse claims/and anomalies to underwriters in order to assist in continuous improvement of the risk. • Preparation of periodical claims report and other management reports relating to claims. This will also include weekly claims statistics. • Monitor and review departmental performance, appraising, training and development of staff in the department. • Ensure recruitment and maintenance of the right staff and oversee continuous training to improve performance and career growth. • Keep an eye on all fraudulent cases and close all the possible loops holes. • Maintain discipline in the department. • Facilitate salvage disposal through E-Bidding . • Prepare and submit regulator report on a monthly basis. • Attending meetings for dispute resolution. • Review of service providers performance.
