• Develop and implement procurement plans in coordination with departmental heads. • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and quality products. • Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with approved budgets and procurement policies. • Maintain an updated and pre-qualified supplier database. • Ensure proper documentation and filing of procurement records for audit and compliance purposes. • Monitor supplier performance and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services. • Coordinate with finance to ensure proper invoice verification and payment processing. • Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies and statutory requirements. • Conduct regular market surveys and benchmarking to ensure value for money. • Manage inventory levels in collaboration with stores to prevent stock-outs and overstocking. • Participate in tendering processes and evaluation committees where required. • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function. • Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • Membership with the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
