• Monitor premium collections and produce regular reports on the performance of the Deposit Insurance Scheme to inform management decisions. • Review and recommend adjustments to the levels of premiums, target fund and coverage limits; • Prudently manage the Deposit Insurance Fund and investments to optimize the size of the Fund in order to align with the objectives of the Deposit Insurance Scheme. • Participate in the review of the regulatory framework and propose changes in line with market developments and international best practice on deposit insurance; • Review and analyse prudential and deposits data submitted by member institutions to ensure that accurate information pertaining to depositors is maintained and performance indicators generated; • Review and analyse information of the member institutions and manage risks to the Fund through sound advice on investment strategies and liquidity management; • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly off-site analysis reports on investment portfolio, liquidity, and market conditions benchmarked against strategic and operational plans; and • Undertake research on deposit insurance systems and practices to improve the overall management and administration of the Fund. Qualifications and Experience • Knowledge of the BFSA and other laws, regulations and guidelines related to the financial sector. • Strong analytical and quantitative skills. • Computer Literate with strong Excel skills • Interpersonal and Communication skills • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Presentation skills Key Knowledge and Attributes • Bachelor of Arts (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BSc) (in Accounting, Business Administration, finance or equivalent, CA, ACCA, CIMA will be an added advantage
