The ideal candidate should have a diploma in sales and marketing or its equivalent, as well as at least 3years of experience in a similar role. The main responsibilities of this position will be to identify new clients and develop marketing strategies, with a focus on shipping from China to Kenya. Responsibilities: ● Conduct market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities ● Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our shipping services from China to Kenya ● Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, and expand the customer base through targeted outreach and networking ● Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to clients ● Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase revenue ● Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activity, and make recommendations to management on how to stay competitive in the market ● Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote our services and generate leads ● Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients ● Manage and update customer databases and sales reports Qualifications: ● Diploma in sales and marketing or its equivalent ● At least 3years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the shipping or logistics industry ● Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills ● Self-motivated with a results-driven approach ● Excellent organizational and time-management skills ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM softwareIf you are a highly motivated and results-oriented sales and marketing professional, with a passion for the logistics industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity
