The Plant Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the plant according to working instructions, executing first-line troubleshooting/diagnosis, carrying out scheduled maintenance, and ensuring strict adherence to cleanliness and ISO standards. Key Duties & Responsibilities Plant Operations & Efficiency: Operate the plant effectively according to working instructions to minimize operational costs and ensure parameters run at full capacity. Quality & Parameter Checks: Perform hourly purity and quality control checks, record results, and log operating parameters every hour. Deviation Reporting: Promptly report any operational deviations or issues to the supervisor. Standards & Compliance: Adhere strictly to ISO 22000 standards, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and company hygiene schedules. Safety & OSHA: Observe and enforce safety regulations in the plant in full compliance with company policies and OSHA standards. Plant Operators Cross-Departmental Coordination: Work closely with other teams to align operational activities with company goals. Maintenance & Support: Execute plant maintenance tasks as directed by supervisors and handle other duties assigned by management. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Diploma in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or Chemical and Processing Engineering. Membership with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) / Tanzania Engineering board is an added advantage. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of practical working experience in a manufacturing environment. Gender: Open to both male and female candidates.
