JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

Our client is looking for a Junior Accountant with good knowledge of accounting data entry and QuickBooks. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of basic accounting processes, statutory deductions, and tax-related eSlips. Key Responsibilities Perform accurate accounting data entry using QuickBooks.Record and maintain financial transactions and accounting records.Generate eSlips for VAT and Withholding VAT (WH VAT).Prepare and process statutory deductions.Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.Assist with reconciliations and routine accounting activities.Ensure accounting records are accurate and properly maintained.Support the senior accountant with day-to-day accounting tasks.Requirements & Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Practical knowledge of QuickBooks is required.Experience in accounting data entry.Knowledge of VAT and Withholding VAT (WH VAT).Understanding of statutory deductions.Good attention to detail and accuracy.Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Salary Ksh 20,000 per month
