Position: Field Officer – Market Development Location: Iringa Reporting to: Agribusiness Manager Mode of Transport: Motorcycle (provided) Key Responsibilities: Develop and expand market reach for fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, and other agricultural products Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, agro-dealers, and other stakeholders Educate/Train farmers on the selection, benefits, proper use, and application of inputs through existing Farmers’ Information Centers. Identify local market needs, preferences, and trends for crops and agricultural inputs. 5 Keep detailed records of inputs sales activities, clients’ feedback, and market insights. Conduct regular field visits to farmers and provide guidance on proper crop management practices, including pest and disease management and correct input application. Collect farmers’ feedback on crops, inputs and farm yield performance for each season. Facilitate farmers’ trainings, soil sample collection, soil testing, results dissemination and recommendations for improved soil fertility management. Qualifications and experience: Diploma in Agriculture or Crop Production, Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture General, Horticulture, or Agronomy from a recognized institution. At least 2 years of relevant experience in input sales and marketing, farmers’ engagement and training on agricultural inputs, crop production, and agronomic practices Other requirements: Must have a valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively to remote areas Certification from agricultural inputs regulatory authorities is an added advantage. Key competence Strong sales and marketing skills, Good communication and farmers’ engagement skills, Knowledge of agricultural inputs, crop production, and agronomic practices Position: ICT Officer (1 position) Location: Iringa Reporting to: General Manager Mode of Transport: Motorcycle (provided) Key responsibilities Manage and maintain the organization’s ICT systems, software, and hardware infrastructure. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for staff and organizational systems. Manage and update the organization’s website and ensure content is current and functional. Manage and grow the organization’s social media accounts, ensuring regular updates and engagement. Support the documentation of success stories, photos, and digital content for communication and reporting purposes. Take photographs and assist in producing visual materials for organizational publications and reports. Ensure data security, system backups, and proper management of digital files. Support the implementation and maintenance of internal digital systems and databases. Assist in the development and improvement of digital communication tools. Perform other ICT-related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications and experience Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. At least 2 years of relevant experience in ICT support, systems management, or digital communications. Experience in website management and social media administration. Basic skills in photography, graphic design, or multimedia documentation will be an added advantage. Must have a valid driving license Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and support multiple teams.
