• Serve as technical support and key thought leader on Sponsorship in the region, including support to development of guidance, tools, and strong implementation of policy, standards, management approach, strategic objectives and priorities, operating model, and business processes. • Support FOs to establish systems and mechanism to ensure adherence and compliance to CS policies and standard. Monitor standards and policies implementation and engage RO and FO leadership on areas requiring their intervention. • Lead and coordinate strategic regional-level efforts for strong child participation and ongoing quality improvement of sponsorship business processes and deliverables for stronger child participation, including sponsor engagement features, in close coordination with the Regional Sponsorship Lead. • Master’s degree preferred; preferred degree in management or a social science field or other relevant area. • Demonstrated community and staff facilitation skills. • Excellent presentation and communication skills. • Leadership: At least 5 years’ experience in development work, out of which at least two years in leadership position at country level. • In depth understanding and experience in Child Sponsorship and its contribution to child wellbeing with at least 2-year experience of supervising/managing sponsorship at country/cluster level. • Demonstrated competencies in sponsorship management, especially on sponsorship business processes and systems. • Strategic and in-depth understanding and experience in development program approach • Field Office work experience in Child Sponsorship and/ or development projects. • Demonstrated community and staff facilitation skills, facilitation of training programmes, and partnering.
