• Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents and records of the organization. • Analysis of monthly gross margins and recommend price adjustments periodically. • Comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for financial statements. • Analysis of any changes in goods or services provided to determine what effect it has on the cost. • Analysis of manufacturing costs and preparation of variance analysis of standard costs to actual production costs. • Make estimates of new and proposed product costs. • Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability of products. • Review of optimization initiatives and highlighting key areas to address to ensure cost efficiencies in the operations. • Monthly management accounts and production variance reports • Annual budget preparation and monthly variance analysis • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations • Posting or supplier raw material invoices and month-end journals • Assist in external audits • Conduct and supervise physical inventories and monitor the cycle count program. • Support management with accurate financial analysis of business performance to aid in decision making.
