Key Responsibilities Software Development: Design, write, test, and maintain clean, well-documented code. Linux Systems: Administer, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for Linux environments (Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS, Rocky Linux). Automation: Develop shell/Bash scripts and automation tools to increase operational efficiency. Deployment & CI/CD: Manage code using Git, participate in CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with DevOps/QA/Infrastructure teams. Maintenance & Security: Implement security best practices, monitor application performance, and resolve production issues. Qualifications & Requirements Required: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years of professional software development experience. Core Skills: Strong Linux OS administration and Bash/shell scripting. Proficiency in at least one: Python, Java, C++, Go, or C#. Solid understanding of SDLC, Git, REST APIs, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server). Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred / Added Advantage: Containers & Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP. DevOps & Config Tools: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions.
