• Provide professional pharmaceutical services, including prescription review, dispensing, patient counseling, and medication therapy management. • Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy to ensure efficient, safe, and uninterrupted service delivery. • Plan, procure, receive, store, and manage pharmaceutical products and medical consumables to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize expiries and stock-outs. • Ensure compliance with all applicable pharmacy laws, professional standards, licensing requirements, and hospital policies. • Manage controlled medicines and ensure proper documentation, storage, accountability, and reporting. • Supervise, mentor, and coordinate the performance of pharmacy personnel to promote high standards of service delivery. • Collaborate with clinicians to promote rational prescribing, medication safety, antimicrobial stewardship, and optimal patient care. • Monitor, investigate, and report medication errors, adverse drug reactions, and other medication-related incidents while implementing corrective actions. • Develop and implement pharmacy quality improvement initiatives, standard operating procedures, and risk management measures. • Prepare pharmacy reports, monitor key performance indicators, and provide regular updates on pharmacy operations, stock status, and regulatory compliance. • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for pharmaceutical products and services. • Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of pharmacy equipment and information systems. • Participate in clinical audits, continuous medical education, continuous professional development, and multidisciplinary team meetings. • Promote excellent customer service and uphold the organization\’s values, ethical standards, and patient-centered care principles. • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management.
