• Plan and deliver effective PE lessons according to the school’s curriculum. • Teach a range of sports and physical activities appropriate to students’ ages and abilities. • Encourage participation, teamwork, discipline and good sportsmanship. • Adapt activities to accommodate students with different physical abilities and skill levels. • Assess and monitor students’ progress in physical education. • Maintain appropriate records of student participation and performance. • Support school sports teams and extracurricular sporting activities. • Assist with sports days, competitions, tournaments and other school sporting events. • Coach students in relevant sporting disciplines where required. • Ensure all PE activities are conducted safely and professionally. • Inspect sports equipment and facilities and report any safety concerns. • Maintain appropriate supervision of students during lessons and sporting activities. • Promote healthy lifestyles, fitness and wellbeing among students. • Communicate effectively with the Head of School, teachers and parents when required. • Follow all school policies relating to safeguarding, health and safety and student conduct.
