Public Partnership Officer
Job Description
This position, under the direct supervision of a Public Partnerships Specialist within the PPR North America and IFIs Pillar (Washington DC), involves deepening collaboration with key U.S. Government stakeholders, facilitating knowledge exchange, resource mobilization, and policy influence. The role ensures documentation of quality programming outputs aligned with agreement reporting requirements and provides targeted support for senior staff operations and administrative services. The incumbent will work closely with the UNICEF-US portfolio, focusing on Infectious Disease Outbreak Response and other public health emergency programming as part of broader development and humanitarian funding to Country Offices. Responsibilities include implementing work plans for assigned areas to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of results, maintaining up-to-date partner and income trends, coordinating with the Health Emergency Preparedness, Response, and Resilience (HEPR) team, and supporting the development of frameworks and templates for partner agreements. The role also involves conducting research on prospective new partners, analyzing their financial base and reputation, and providing administrative support such as organizing official travel and preparing briefing materials for meetings with U.S. Government colleagues and other stakeholders.
Requirements
A first level university degree is required in one of the following fields: international relations, political science, communications, international development, or another relevant technical field; A minimum of two years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: public affairs, program management, resource mobilization, external relations, or other relevant area; Skills: International Development; International Relations; Program Management; Public Affairs; Resource Mobilization; public partnerships; Proficiency in English is required.
