Trainer (Internship) - Health Science Department

This internship role involves training in specialized areas of health science as per the approved syllabus. The successful candidate will prepare teaching and learning materials, including schemes of work and technical training resources. Responsibilities include setting and marking examinations and assignments, supervising trainees on attachment, and instructing, guiding, and evaluating trainees in practical exercises. The role also involves reporting on the progress and performance of individual trainees, participating in curriculum development, and conducting research under the guidance of senior trainers. The position requires collaboration with other trainers and adherence to Competency-Based Education Training (CBET) pedagogy standards.

For appointment to this position, a candidate must have: - Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. - Background training in Competency-Based Education Training(CBET) Pedagogy in Education, training, Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) Registration, Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable will be an added advantage - One who is reliable and of high integrity. - Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
