You will work closely with the larger Global Talent Team and Finance Team to ensure fair and objective case management, provide operational HR support, and ensure compliance, while partnering closely with the Head of Talent for escalations and complex matters. Employee Relations Expertise: Proven experience handling disciplinary cases, investigations, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and workplace grievances with fairness and consistencyKnowledge of Uganda Labour Law: Strong working knowledge of the Employment Act, 2007 and ability to apply it in real workplace scenariosStakeholder Management: Ability to advise and coach managers on employee relations matters, performance management, and policy interpretationInvestigation & Analytical Skills: Skilled in gathering evidence, conducting interviews, and preparing clear, well-structured reportsStrong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to handle sensitive and high-stakes conversations professionallyAttention to Detail: High level of accuracy in documentation, record-keeping, and compliance trackingIntegrity & Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgmentTechnical Proficiency: Proficient with G-Suite and HRIS platforms; demonstrated success in process automation and navigating emerging technologiesAI Literacy: Familiarity with LLMs, conversational AI, prompt engineering, and agentic AI concepts to help modernize HR workflowsMindset: Forward-thinking, curious, and confident in a fast-paced environment.
