Senior Physical Planner

The Senior Physical Planner is responsible for overseeing and implementing physical planning policies, programs, and projects within Makueni County. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing physical development plans, ensuring compliance with national and county planning regulations, and coordinating with stakeholders to promote sustainable urban and regional development. The role involves conducting site assessments, preparing feasibility studies, and providing technical advice to county departments and the public on physical planning matters. The Senior Physical Planner will also monitor and evaluate the implementation of approved plans to ensure alignment with development goals and statutory requirements.

Must be a Kenyan citizen; Have a minimum of three (3) years' relevant experience; Have a bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Planning or Town Planning from a recognized institution; Must be a member of Kenya Institute of Planners or Architectural Association of Kenya (Town Planner Chapter).
