The Senior Officer-Communication and Event Organizer will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing high-impact communication strategies and events to promote the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute (ATI)'s initiatives and achievements. This role involves coordinating with internal teams to develop engaging content, managing media relations, and organizing national and regional events such as conferences, workshops, and stakeholder forums. The officer will also oversee the creation of communication materials, including press releases, newsletters, and social media campaigns, to enhance public awareness and stakeholder engagement. Additionally, the role requires monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of communication strategies and providing recommendations for improvement. The position plays a critical role in fostering partnerships and ensuring the ATI's visibility in Ethiopia's agricultural transformation agenda.

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field; Master’s degree is an advantage; Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in communication, event management, or public relations; Proven track record in organizing large-scale events and managing media relations; Strong writing and editing skills with proficiency in creating compelling content; Excellent organizational and project management abilities; Proficiency in digital communication tools and social media platforms; Fluency in English and Amharic (written and verbal); Experience working in the agricultural sector or government institutions is a plus.
