• Manage the carbonisation furnace on the main factory floor • Oversee the mini biochar machines set up in the locality to create jobs for communities • Oversee the Demo farms in the communities • Ensure all Environmental and Health and Safety standards are adhered to • Produce high-quality Biochar, various biochar fertilizer blends, and wood vinegar • Manage a team of factory hands at the main factory • Implement efficient production processes and maintain high standards of quality control • Monitor and report on production metrics, including yield, quality, and safety • Collaborate with the Project Manager to achieve project goals and objectives • Any other duties that may be assigned by the Project Manager Qualification Required & Experience Requirements: • HND or higher degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, agriculture, environmental science) • Working experience in a biochar or compost production or manufacturing setting is desirable • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word • Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills • Ability to relate well with locals and work effectively in a rural setting
