Job Description
Teach Amharic language and literature to students in a culturally immersive environment. Develop lesson plans aligned with national curriculum standards, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Prepare students for national examinations and foster an appreciation for Ethiopian heritage through language instruction. Collaborate with other educators to integrate language learning across subjects. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance. Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Amharic Language or Education; minimum of 2 years teaching experience; proficiency in Amharic and English; strong classroom management skills; familiarity with Ethiopian curriculum standards; ability to create engaging lesson plans.
