Study Coordinator
Job Description
Coordinate research study activities in Buikwe and Mayuge districts, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to project timelines. Supervise field data collection teams to ensure accurate and timely data gathering. Ensure compliance with study protocols and ethical standards throughout the research process. Manage study documentation, including reports, logs, and participant records, while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity. Coordinate with health facilities and community stakeholders to facilitate data collection and community engagement. Support data quality assurance processes by conducting regular audits and providing feedback to field teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, or a related field; Master’s degree is an added advantage; Minimum of 3 years of experience in research coordination or field data management; Experience in coordinating multi-site research studies; Proficiency in data collection tools and software (e.g., REDCap, SPSS); Strong organizational and supervisory skills; Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities; Knowledge of ethical research practices and regulatory compliance; Ability to work in rural and peri-urban settings; Experience in health systems research is desirable.
