Maintenance Officer Grade 10

The Maintenance Officer Grade 10 is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of physical facilities, housekeeping, and ground maintenance within the university. This role involves preparing architectural and structural drawings, preparing cost estimates for maintenance and new construction projects, and conducting site measurements for project valuation. The officer will coordinate artisans' work, ensure efficient material utilization to prevent loss, and conduct routine maintenance surveillance. They will collaborate on implementing maintenance schedules for physical facilities and ensure quality services and workmanship from contractors and consultants. Additional duties include performing tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management/Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying/Architecture from a recognized institution; Diploma/Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying/Architecture from a recognized institution (added advantage); Cumulative service period of six (6) years relevant work experience, with three (3) years at the grade of Maintenance Officer II in a comparable position or a university setup; Registration with the relevant professional body.
