Venn Officer - Data Quality Assurance (DQA)

The Data Quality Assurance (DQA) Officer is responsible for safeguarding the quality, integrity, and reliability of Raising The Village's (RTV) primary data from survey design and field preparation to data collection, monitoring, validation, and reporting. The role leads operational data quality assurance for all RTV field-based evaluation surveys, including baseline, midline, endline, routine monitoring, and special studies across all countries of operation. This is a highly analytical and hands-on role requiring continuous interrogation of incoming datasets, implementation of automated quality assurance processes, and monitoring enumerator performance using survey metadata. The officer will ensure that all data collected meets the highest standards of accuracy and reliability, directly contributing to RTV's mission of eradicating ultra-poverty through data-driven impact. The position involves close collaboration with field teams, data analysts, and program managers to identify and resolve data quality issues in real-time, ensuring that all evaluations and reports are based on robust and credible data.

3+ years of experience in data quality assurance, data analysis, or a related field; strong analytical skills with proficiency in data validation techniques; experience with survey design and implementation; familiarity with automated data quality tools and processes; ability to interpret and analyze complex datasets; excellent attention to detail; strong communication skills for reporting findings and recommendations; experience working in international development or a related sector is an advantage; proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS) is beneficial.
