Project/Program Assistant

The Project/Program Assistant will provide essential support to the project team in the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of humanitarian and development programs. Key responsibilities include assisting in project planning, coordination with local partners, data collection and reporting, logistical support for program activities, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements. The role involves working closely with field teams in refugee camps to facilitate smooth program delivery, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the preparation of progress reports. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and strong interpersonal skills to liaise between stakeholders, beneficiaries, and the project team.

Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field; minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in project/program management or humanitarian assistance; strong organizational and communication skills; proficiency in English and French (Kinyarwanda is an asset); experience in working in refugee or humanitarian settings is highly desirable; familiarity with monitoring and evaluation frameworks; ability to work under pressure in challenging environments.
