• Loading/Unloading: Move raw avocados from trucks to the warehouse for ripening. • Transporting: Move fruit to various factory stages to keep the processing line running. • Forklift Operation: Operate the forklift safely and keep it in good working condition. • Maintenance: Perform equipment repairs and report any machinery issues to supervisors. • Safety Adherence: Follow all workplace safety rules and procedures at all times. • Stock Tracking: Help with inventory counts and tracking fruit origin (traceability). • Coordination: Collaborate with all departments to ensure smooth daily operations. • Process Improvement: Suggest more efficient ways to organise and run the warehouse. • Safety Implementation: Apply food safety standards throughout the entire processing cycle. • SHEQ Compliance: Follow all health, environmental, and quality rules during your shift. • Meetings & Audits: Participate in food safety meetings and official inspections. Qualifications & Requirements • Certified forklift operator with a valid driving license and 3+ years of manufacturing experience. • Expert knowledge of Food Safety (FSMS), Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards.
