Fleet and Fuel Supervisor
Job Description
Double Q Company is seeking a highly organized and experienced Fleet and Fuel Supervisor to oversee and manage the company's fleet operations in Uganda. The role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive fleet strategy and policies to ensure efficient and cost-effective fleet management. You will be responsible for managing fleet acquisition, maintenance, and disposal processes, as well as developing and implementing operational processes and procedures to streamline operations. This position requires leading and managing a team of operations staff, conducting regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, and managing and optimizing fleet and operational expenses to reduce costs. Additionally, you will develop and implement training and development programs for the fleet and operations team to enhance their skills and performance. The role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company's fleet, contributing directly to its operational success and sustainability.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or a related field; Strong leadership and team management skills; Excellent organizational and planning abilities; Proficiency in fleet management software and tools; Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards; Experience in budgeting and cost optimization; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to conduct regular safety audits and inspections; Experience in developing and implementing training programs.
