• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine welding requirements. • Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and arc welders. • Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces. • Perform welding operations in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead) as needed. • Inspect completed welds for accuracy and quality, ensuring compliance with specifications. • Maintain welding equipment and tools, performing routine maintenance as required. • Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. • Craft Certificate in Welding • Minimum of 2+ years of welding experience in a similar role. • Good operating knowledge of welding machines such as spot, butt and seam resistance or gas and arc welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts • Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs. • Strong attention to detail and precision in work. • Physical stamina and ability to work in various positions and environments.
