• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded in QuickBooks. • Process supplier invoices and manage payments, prioritizing financial operations related to MoH-supported programs. • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for review by the Finance Officer. • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget, with a focus on funding allocations for workforce development programs. • Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs, particularly for programs supporting MoH initiatives. • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and manage organizational payments. • Assist with monthly employee tax declarations, ensuring compliance with Rwandan tax regulations. • Stay updated on tax policies, including tax exemptions, and maintain accurate records for all tax obligations. • Support external audits by preparing documentation and implementing recommendations to improve financial processes. • Ensure financial practices align with local regulatory requirements and the Foundation’s policies. • Collaborate closely with the Finance Officer and Finance Manager to align financial activities with organizational goals. • Provide administrative support and other duties as required by the finance team. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 3–5 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience, ideally in a non-profit environment. • CPA certification required.
