We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager on behalf of our esteemed client, a newly established vocational training institution based in Juba, South Sudan, to play a pivotal role in establishing and overseeing the institution's daily operations, ensuring efficient delivery of academic and administrative services while driving operations. Key Responsibilities: · Lead the overall operational management of the institution, ensuring efficient and effective day-to-day operations. · Develop and implement operational policies, systems, procedures, and administrative frameworks. · Coordinate academic support services and ensure seamless collaboration between academic and administrative departments. · Establish operational structures for admissions, student registration, scheduling, examinations, certification, and graduation processes. · Oversee facilities management, classroom readiness, workshops, laboratories, equipment, and learning resources. · Ensure compliance with relevant education regulations, accreditation requirements, and institutional policies. · Manage institutional budgets, operational expenditures, procurement processes, and resource utilization. · Develop and monitor operational KPIs and prepare regular performance reports for senior management. · Supervise administrative, support, and operations staff, ensuring high levels of performance and accountability. · Coordinate student support services to promote a positive and productive learning environment. · Oversee health, safety, security, and risk management across the institution. · Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators, training partners, suppliers, and service providers. · Support business development initiatives, institutional growth, and strategic partnerships. · Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery. · Perform any other duties assigned by the Managing Director. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education Management, Operations Management, Public Administration, or a related field. · 10+ years of experience working in a vocational training institution, TVET institution, technical college, skills development center, or a similar educational institution is mandatory. · Demonstrated experience in establishing, managing, or scaling operations within a newly established institution will be a distinct advantage. · Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and institutional operations. · Strong understanding of educational administration, operational planning, and institutional governance. · Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. · Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. · High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability. · Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
