Clinical Officer
Job Description
The Clinical Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. This role involves conducting medical examinations, prescribing medications, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and guidelines. The officer will work closely with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality medical services in a structured healthcare environment, with a focus on patient-centered care and community health initiatives. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records, participating in health education campaigns, and supporting outbreak response activities as needed.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution; Valid Clinical Officer registration with the Tanzania Medical Council; Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting; Strong knowledge of medical ethics and patient confidentiality; Proficiency in Swahili and English; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work in a team-oriented environment; Experience in community health programs is an added advantage.
