Epidemiologist
Job Description
The Epidemiologist will be responsible for leading epidemiological activities, including the design, implementation, and evaluation of surveillance systems, outbreak investigations, and public health interventions. Key responsibilities include conducting epidemiological analysis and reporting, coordinating with stakeholders for data collection and management, and providing technical support for capacity building and training programs. The role requires strong operational management skills to ensure timely and accurate public health responses, particularly in emergency and challenging environments. Additionally, the Epidemiologist will contribute to health emergency management by developing preparedness plans, conducting risk assessments, and supporting outbreak response efforts. Collaboration with national and international health authorities, as well as community engagement, will be essential to achieve program objectives.
Requirements
