Gynaecologist

Shalom Medical Center is seeking a qualified and experienced Gynaecologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients, including prenatal and postnatal care, performing surgical procedures, and managing high-risk pregnancies. The role involves conducting routine gynecological examinations, diagnosing and treating reproductive health issues, and providing patient education on family planning and reproductive health. The Gynaecologist will work closely with midwives, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure high standards of patient care. Additionally, the role may include administrative duties such as maintaining patient records, collaborating with other specialists, and participating in community health outreach programs.

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent; Master's degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MMED or equivalent); Valid medical license to practice in Uganda; Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in obstetrics and gynecology; Strong clinical skills in prenatal and postnatal care, surgical procedures, and reproductive health management; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work in a team and handle high-pressure situations; Proficiency in medical software and electronic health records; Commitment to continuous professional development.
