We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Finance Accountant Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Report To: MD / Finance lead Department: Finance & Administration Responsibilities The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to): Supervise or execute fuel pipework interface to the dispensing island. Connect product lines and vapour recovery systems in accordance with approved drawings and specifications. Install, route, align, joint, and fit fuel and related pipework. Perform pressure testing, leak testing, flushing, and inspection of pipework as required. Identify and rectify leaks, faulty connections, alignment issues, and other piping defects. Coordinate with the station MEP contractor to ensure proper integration of fuel piping with other mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Interpret and work from technical drawings, piping layouts, specifications, and installation plans. Support testing, commissioning, and handover of fuel piping systems. Report technical challenges, defects, material requirements, and safety concerns to the Operations Manager/Site Supervisor. Maintain accurate records of pipework installation, testing, modifications, and inspection activities. Document and update pipework as-built information to reflect the final installation. Ensure proper use, handling, and maintenance of tools, equipment, fittings, and materials. Work collaboratively with other technicians, contractors, and site personnel to ensure timely completion of projects. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Operations Manager/Site Supervisor. Requirements B.Sc./B.A.in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5–8 years of relevant experience as an Accountant. Solid experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, accounts receivable/payable, and bank reconciliation. Experience using accounting software and financial management systems. ICAN/ACCA certification or relevant professional qualification is an advantage. Experience in the Oil & Gas, downstream petroleum, or related industry is an advantage.
