Programme Finance Officer
Job Description
Ethio Impact Consulting Plc is seeking a Programme Finance Officer on behalf of an INGO client. The role ensures that the company's partners comply with both company and, where applicable, government requirements. The post holder will work closely with partners and program staff to review financial reports and make recommendations as needed. Key responsibilities include reviewing partner financial reports in collaboration with programme teams to ensure compliance and donor requirements; ensuring partner financial records are accurate, up to date, and properly maintained; providing technical support to partner finance teams to strengthen reporting quality; advising on accounting systems, reporting formats, and financial processes; delivering training and continuous guidance to partner organizations on financial management; supporting internal and external audits and following up on implementation of audit recommendations; assisting in investigations related to suspected fraud or financial irregularities; assisting programme teams with budget monitoring, review, and reporting; and providing technical input into institutional funding proposals and budgets. The role may also require carrying out other reasonable duties as may be required.
Requirements
1st Degree in Accounting or Business Administration; Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Grant Management in INGO; At least two years’ experience of working with and building the capacity of local partner organizations; Good knowledge of accounting software like Quick-books and Peach-tree; Skills (mandatory): Adaptability, Communication, Attention to detail, Problem solving Work experience: 5-8 years
