Plumbing Consultant
Job Description
A Plumbing Consultant at Africa Management Solutions Limited (AMSOL) is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing water supply and drainage systems within commercial buildings, offices, factories, or institutions. The role involves diagnosing and resolving plumbing faults, leaks, and blockages, as well as installing new plumbing fixtures, piping, pumps, valves, and fittings. The consultant will conduct preventive maintenance to minimize plumbing failures, respond to emergency plumbing issues within agreed response times, and advise AMSOL on plumbing improvements and water conservation measures. They will prepare detailed service reports after each assignment, recommend materials, and provide cost estimates for major repairs. All plumbing work must comply with Kenyan safety regulations and building standards.
Requirements
Trade Test Certificate in Plumbing (Grade I, II, or III); Craft Certificate; Diploma in Plumbing; or an equivalent recognized qualification.; Minimum of 2 years' practical plumbing experience.; Experience working in commercial buildings, offices, factories, or institutions is an added advantage.
