Business Systems Analyst
Job Description
The Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role in improving the efficient setup and deployment of business applications at IRC to meet end-user needs and organizational mission. The role involves collaborating with IT colleagues and business partners to collect and assess system requirements, ensuring seamless configuration and delivery of business applications. Key responsibilities include leading the administration, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise business systems across departments such as finance, supply chain, HR, and other operational functions. The analyst must ensure systems align with organizational policies, security standards, and compliance requirements. Additionally, the role requires acquiring domain expertise in cross-functional business processes and systems, managing relationships with software vendors and implementation partners, coordinating with QA teams for functional and user acceptance testing, and providing Level 3 support for enterprise systems. The position also involves supporting system updates, advancements, and new implementations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field; 3-6 years of experience crafting and supporting enterprise business systems; equivalent experience will be considered. Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and detailing cross-functional business, functional, and technical requirements; experience with enterprise system testing, including case development and execution. Proficient in system administration, support, and change management in a global or multi-site environment. Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ERP concepts, business processes, and expertise in Dynamics 365 F&O functionalities. Superb communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly; strong attention to detail, active listening, and analytical thinking. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams with proven ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse teams and organizational levels. Preferred skills include Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations certification; advanced degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field; experience working in the NGO or nonprofit sector, especially in distributed or low-bandwidth environments; French language proficiency will be an added advantage.
