Senior Loans Officer

The Senior Loans Officer will be responsible for managing the entire loan lifecycle, from initial client assessment to disbursement and repayment monitoring. This role involves evaluating loan applications, conducting credit risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The officer will also oversee client relationship management, provide financial literacy training to borrowers, and maintain accurate records of all loan transactions. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with the finance team to optimize loan portfolio performance and mitigate default risks. The position plays a critical role in supporting Donswift Company Limited's mission to provide accessible financial services to underserved communities.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; minimum of 5 years of experience in microfinance, banking, or financial services; strong analytical and risk assessment skills; proficiency in loan management software and Microsoft Office Suite; excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; familiarity with Ugandan financial regulations and lending practices; prior experience in a supervisory role is an added advantage.
