Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and oversee the construction of safe and efficient structures. The role involves preparing detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure compliance with engineering standards and local regulations. Site visits may be required to inspect construction progress and resolve technical issues. Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETABS, or SAP2000) is essential, along with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; Minimum 3 years of experience in structural design and analysis; Proficiency in structural design software (AutoCAD, ETABS, SAP2000); Knowledge of Rwanda Building Code and international standards; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects; Registration with the Rwanda Institution of Engineers (RIE) is a plus.
