Job Description
This role involves providing security services at Kirinyaga UN facilities, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and assets. The Guardette will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting regular patrols, and responding to security incidents. Duties include reporting suspicious activities, maintaining security logs, and enforcing site security protocols. The position requires adherence to UN security guidelines and collaboration with local law enforcement when necessary. The role is critical in maintaining a secure environment for UN operations in the region.
Requirements
Must have completed Standard 8 or equivalent; possession of a valid Security Guard Certificate from the National Police Service; minimum of 2 years' experience in security operations; ability to work in shifts including nights and weekends; strong physical fitness and integrity; basic communication skills in English and Swahili.
