Job Description
MATTS Real Estate PLC is seeking a motivated Junior Site Engineer to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of construction projects. The role involves assisting senior engineers in site inspections, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and preparing progress reports. The engineer will work closely with contractors and project managers to resolve on-site technical issues and ensure timely project delivery. Responsibilities include reviewing construction drawings, coordinating with subcontractors, and maintaining site safety protocols. The position offers hands-on experience in real estate development and infrastructure projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Minimum of 2 years of experience in cost estimation and tender preparation for road and infrastructure projects; Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar); Strong analytical and numerical skills; Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; Excellent communication and teamwork skills; Fluent in English and Amharic.
