Tender Notice for Acquisition of Food Processing and Oil Extraction Systems

This tender notice invites economic operators to submit bids for the acquisition of food processing and oil extraction systems under Project RWA/030, which receives financial support from the governments of Rwanda and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The contract involves the supply, delivery, and installation of three lots of equipment: (1) Vegetable Slicer & Dicer (50 kg/hour) for Gitwe and Mutobo Technical and Vocational Education and Training Schools (TSS), (2) Vertical Edible Oil Extraction and Refining Plant (100 kg/hour) for Gitwe TSS, and (3) Avocado & Seed Oil Processing Plant (100 kg/hour) for Gitwe and Mutobo TSS. The evaluation will be based on the most economically advantageous tender, considering price, administrative, and technical criteria, with Incoterm CPT (Mombasa port) as the primary basis for comparison. The performance period varies by Incoterm: 2 months for FCA, 4 months for CPT, and 5 months for DAP, including transport and installation phases. The beneficiary is the Rwanda TVET Board, with Lux-Development acting as the contracting authority.

Economic operators must satisfy the criteria included in the statement of good standing and ethics clauses of the general regulations; no specific educational or experience requirements are explicitly stated for bidders.
