Job Description
The Driver Grade 3 is responsible for safely operating and maintaining university vehicles to transport staff, students, and guests. Duties include planning routes, ensuring vehicle cleanliness, performing basic vehicle checks, and adhering to traffic regulations. The role requires reliability, punctuality, and excellent customer service to support university operations. The driver may also be required to assist with loading and unloading equipment or materials during official trips. A valid Kenyan driving license with a clean record is mandatory.
Requirements
Valid Kenyan driving license (Class B or above); minimum of 3 years driving experience; knowledge of road safety regulations; ability to read and interpret basic vehicle maintenance manuals; good communication skills; physical fitness to handle long driving hours; basic computer literacy for logging trips. Prior experience in passenger transport or institutional driving is an added advantage.
