The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing debt collections, ensuring compliance, and supporting overall financial operations. Key Responsibilities ā Debt Collection & AR Management: Monitor outstanding customer balances, execute prompt follow-ups, and manage debt collection processes to ensure healthy cash flow. ā Financial Record Keeping: Prepare, process, and maintain daily ledger entries, financial statements, and accounts documentation. ā Reconciliation: Conduct regular bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and account verifications. ā Statutory Compliance: Assist in the preparation and timely filing of statutory returns (KRA, PAYE, NHIF/SHIF, NSSF). ā Communication & Reporting: Act as a liaison between the finance department, clients, and internal teams, providing clear financial updates and reports to management. Qualifications & Requirements ā Professional Qualification: Minimum CPA Part II (or equivalent accounting certification). ā Experience: 1 to 2 years of proven working experience in accounting, finance, or book-keeping roles. ā Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal capabilities. ā Organizational Skills: Strong focus on debt collection, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. ā Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
