Spa Therapist

We are seeking a skilled, professional, and guest-focused Spa Therapist to join our Spa & Wellness team at JW Marriott Nairobi. In this role, you will deliver exceptional spa treatments including massages, facials, body scrubs, and other wellness therapies to promote relaxation and wellbeing. You will ensure each guest enjoys a personalized and rejuvenating experience in line with JW Marriott Nairobi’s luxury standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting client consultations to assess individual needs, recommending appropriate treatments, maintaining treatment rooms and equipment to high cleanliness and safety standards, and collaborating with other spa and hotel staff to provide seamless guest experiences. Your expertise in wellness therapies, warm hospitality, and commitment to service excellence will help create an unforgettable wellness journey for every guest. This role requires a strong understanding of spa operations, product knowledge, and a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and guest satisfaction.

BA/BSc/HND in Spa Management, Health Sciences, or a related field; professional certification in massage therapy or spa treatments (e.g., ITEC, CIDESCO, or equivalent); minimum of 2 years of experience as a Spa Therapist in a luxury or high-end hospitality setting; strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various spa techniques; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays; fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage); certification in first aid and CPR is a plus.
