Area Manager

The Area Manager will oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and monitoring of programs within a designated region for Humanity and Inclusion, an international NGO focused on humanitarian aid and inclusion. Responsibilities include managing a team of program coordinators and field staff, ensuring program quality and impact, liaising with local stakeholders, government agencies, and partners, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies. The role involves regular field visits to assess project progress, address challenges, and provide technical guidance. The Area Manager will also be responsible for budget management, reporting to senior leadership, and contributing to organizational strategy development.

Master's degree in International Development, Humanitarian Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field; minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in humanitarian aid, development, or NGO management, including at least 3 years in a managerial role; demonstrated experience in program design, monitoring, and evaluation; strong leadership and team management skills; excellent communication and negotiation abilities; fluency in English (French and/or Arabic is an asset); experience working in conflict or post-conflict environments is highly desirable; familiarity with donor reporting requirements and compliance standards.
